I look
Before the moodboard, before the type, before the answer. I stay with the subject long enough for the obvious to become interesting.

I Collect
A photograph from a forgotten book. A colour from a doorway. A sentence overheard somewhere. Pieces that have no reason to meet, until they do.

I let things collide. Too large. Too quiet. Slightly strange. The first idea is rarely the one I want to keep.

There is a moment when adding becomes unnecessary. The work becomes quieter, and somehow says more. That is when I stop.
